What goals do you want to achieve? Do you find it difficult to stay focused on these goals?
To achieve what one wants in life, goal setting is an effective strategy that anyone can utilize. Sadly, staying focused on ones goals can often be challenging. Here are some quick tips to help you stay focused.
1) Have a visible place in your home to display your desired goal. (Some examples might be on the bathroom mirror, on top of your dresser, in a frame on the wall, on your desk, beside your bed, on the fridge, etc…) This will provide you with a constant reminder of what you want to achieve.
2) Use a picture board as motivation. Many people are visual learners and this will help to “see” what you desire. Paste pictures on cardboard or poster board that will motivate you that connect to the goal you wish to achieve. Put the board somewhere you will see it on a regular basis. (Example: If your goal is to travel, post pictures of where you want to go, how you will get there and what you will see.) The idea is to create a mental vision of your goal or goals.
3) Promote your goal. Know when you would like to achieve this goal. Tell 15 people, minimum, about your goal and when you intend on reaching it. Public commitment can be incredibly empowering. Tell people who will hold you accountable. You want them to be helpful not hindering. This will leave success as your only option.

Environmental factors determine whether our bodies flourish or weaken. Two of our body’s basic needs are clean water and clear air. Without them the body can no survive. We must learn to protect ourselves from indoor and outdoor pollutions to maintain a healthy life.
With people spending more and more time indoors, the indoor pollutants must be taken into consideration. Indoor pollution can be caused by many factors. Some examples include, chemicals from cleaning products, toxins in bath and beauty products, tobacco smoke, mold, fungus and mildew. Even outdoor pollutants can assemble in buildings, which are not properly ventilated. Outdoor pollution can come from chemical and gas emissions from vehicles, fires, burning of fossil fuel for energy and so much more.
Either outdoor or indoor pollutants can trigger health conditions. A few minor symptoms that can be the result of poor air quality are headaches, coughing, sneezing, light headedness and irritated/dry eyes. These pollutants can cause toxins to accumulate in the system, leading to diseases like asthma, heart problems and even cancer.
There are steps you can take to reduce your exposure to household pollutants.
